HPH TRAINING offer a wide range of H&S Training and Consultancy. Based at out facility in Castlebar, Co.Mayo we can provide you with all your Health, Safety and Training needs. Having been in the plant hire business for more than 45 years we are in a position to offer you a wealth of knowledge and experience through our certified trainers.

We are flexible! Training can be carried out at our in house facility in Castlebar Co.Mayo on our own equipment by our fully qualified trainers and staff or at your venue if required.
Truck Mounted Crane | HIAB Training
Our Truck Mounted Crane training is designed to make sure your staff know how to operate this expensive equipment efficiently and safely. With the Safety, health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, employers are duty bound to ensure all employees have the appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision to carry out their work. A Truck Mounted Crane/HIAB qualification is essential.
Manual Handling
Manual handling training is a legal requirement in Ireland. Manual Handling is the transporting or supporting of a load that involves lifting, putting down, pushing pulling, carrying or moving. Many people hurt their back, arms, hands or feet lifting everyday loads, not just lifting heavy objects. This course will provide you or your staff with the knowledge and skills to correctly pre-assess, lift, carry and lower objects.
MEWP
MEWP is an overall name for powered access platforms which can refer to any type of Mobile Elevating Work Platform / Cherry Picker. Our standard MEWP operator course covers Scissor Lift and Self Propelled Boom, harness training is also included on this 1 day course. This training can cover Self Propelled Boom, Vehicle Mounted platforms and Spider Type booms.
Forklift Training
Our forklift training covers safe driving of a forklift truck, pre-use maintenance and safety checks, recognition of controls and instruments. The forklift is driven around a suitable course with the operator moving and stacking various loads.
The forklift certificate is endorsed according to the type of machine use: industrial counterbalance, rough terrain masted forklift, rough terrain telescopic forklift or reach truck.
Ride On Roller
This Ride On Roller Training Course is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the machine safely and to comply with statutory requirements. At the end of this course the candidate will have displayed a high level of safety awareness, a good understanding of how the machine works including a pre-use inspection and high level of accuracy when operating the vehicle.
